DOWNTOWN GRAND RAPIDS ENGAGEMENT SESSION

When Chloe and Riley asked to capture their engagement downtown Grand Rapids, I was so excited! I had the privilege of photographing their proposal, so to be apart of their wedding process is an honor!

Chloe and Riley prefer the simple things in life. They enjoy exploring new places while being in each other’s company. As a Michigan wedding photographer, I always push for your engagement session to be personal. For Chloe and Riley, they brought along some props to personalize even more. This date night was a blast!

For city engagement photos, I love allowing my couples to explore around. This also creates more of a comfortable environment.

To start, we had some fun playing with shadows! For city sessions, I love finding small pockets of hidden locations to capture my couples in.

For props, these two brought their favorite book, film camera and matching hats. Implementing them in their engagement session made for such genuine photos.

Their classy yet streetwear outfits were perfect for the vibe. Chloe’s black skirt with Riley’s neutral sweater paired so well together.

It was such a fun and cherishing experience to tag along and I am so in love with how these photos turned out!
